Heavy downpours are likely at times with a few embedded thunderstorms.
At least two to four inches of rain is possible in some local neighborhoods before it’s all said and done through Thursday.

Some brief localized flooding is possible in spots that typically flood.
Heavy rain and storms will likely be in the metro for the evening commute as well.
Temperatures will be below average in the lower to mid 80s. Scattered showers and storms continue through the weekend with highs gradually climbing back to near 90 degrees.
