JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for two people who located a missing child at The Avenues Mall on Thursday afternoon.
JSO said officers responded to the playground area in the mall around 12:45 p.m.
Police learned that the 2-year-old child was at the playground with family members when the child got separated from the family members.

The child was then found in the presence of a man and a woman. These two people who located the child "may have pertinent information as it relates to this investigation," JSO said in a news release.
JSO is asking these two people to contact them. They are described as follows by police:
-Black female in her 20s with long curly hair. She was dressed in what would appear to be current Army employment fatigues (green camo and boots). She was said to have spoken with a witness and gave some information in regards to her rank in the military.
-Black male in his early 20s with a muscular build and a gray T-shirt.
