Jacksonville Tattoo Convention comes to World Golf Village

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Tattoo Convention is taking place Aug. 16 to 18 at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.

Attendees will be able to get inked by local tattoo artists as well as artists from all over the country.

Contests will be held on each day of the convention, where people can enter their healed tattoos to be judged in categories like best color portrait, best sleeve, best pop-culture, and best chest or back piece.

There will also be best-of-day contests, where tattoos must be started and finished on the day they are entered.

There will also be vendors selling art, jewelry, novelty items and tattoo supplies and accessories.

Tickets are $20 for one day and $35 for a weekend pass. Military and first responders can get $5 off their one-day or weekend passes with a valid ID. Kids 15 and under get in free with a paying adult.

Jacksonville Tattoo Convention Schedule:

Friday: 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
