With Hermine bringing rain and heavy winds to Northeast Florida, one of the key questions for Jacksonville is …
Will the city’s vital bridges close due to high winds?
City leaders said the Dames Point Bridge, the Hart Bridge and Mathews Bridge will likely be the first to close if necessary.
Sustained winds would need to reach over 40 mph for a bridge closure to be ordered.
City leaders say they will try to ensure all the bridges aren't closed at once.
