JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Human error was blamed for a delay in treating a 19-year-old soccer player during agame at Huffman Park in October, according to a report released Monday.
Andres Rojas, 19, collapsed during the game and later died. His friends told authorities that they called 911multiple times, and that it took too long for help to arrive.
JRFD officials said a mistake on the part of the dispatcher contributed to the delay.

According to the department, the dispatcher misunderstood Huffman Park for Huffingham Road, which is in a different zone.
The crew that received the call realized the mistake and called back within two minutes to let dispatch know.
The dispatcher, a five-year veteran with a clean record, received a letter of counseling.
Rojas' autopsy report, also released Monday, showed that doctors ruled that Rojas died from a congenital heart problem.
