JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly double shooting on Jacksonville's Westside Wednesday night.
At approximately 9:22 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of 2100 Placeda Street in reference to a shooting.
When police arrived, JSO said they found a black woman dead on the street and another black woman dead in a car. Both had gunshot wounds.

Police said at this time they have no suspect information and are working to identify the victims.

There were dozens of people gathered at the scene after the shooting. Many were in tears. A woman told Action News Jax the community is showing their support of one of the victims, saying she was well loved by everyone.
