JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Cesery Boulevard from University Boulevard to Arlington Expressway was closed due to wires on the road, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said on Monday.
Northbound traffic was diverted to University Boulevard.

According to witnesses, a semi-truck hit a utility pole and the power lines came down on top of the truck.
This sparked an explosion and a transformer blew, witnesses say.
JEA cut the power and worked to fix the issue. Witnesses said the driver was unharmed.
The road has been reopened.
