JSO releases name of person killed at Raines triple shooting

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released the name of the person killed at Raines High School Friday night when shots rang out following the football game between Raines and Lee high schools.

The two other victims of the triple shooting are expected to survive their injuries, police said.

Joerod James Adams, 19, was killed at approximately 10 p.m., according to police.

JSO said the two other shooting victims are a 16-year-old female Lee student and a 17-year-old male Raines student.

Investigative efforts suspect the male victims were at the game together and were the direct targets of the shooting.

The female victim appeared to have been struck by a stray round, according to police.

JSO said the male victims have ties to known criminal street gang members.
