JSO searching for missing man with dementia

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing man.

Officers say 85-year-old Bill Clyburn has dementia.

He was last seen walking away from a residence facility this morning. If you have any information please call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.

Missing Adult The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is working a reported missing adult and we are asking for the community’s assistance in locating him. On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 just prior to 2:00 pm, officers responded to the 2400 Soutel Drive in reference to the missing 85 year old. He was last seen walking away from his residential facility at around 7:00 am utilizing his walker. The victim typically walks around the area but not far. He has been diagnosed with dementia and becomes disoriented at times, as well as other medical issues. The victim has been identified as: Bill Edwin Clyburn 85 years old Height: 5’10” / Weight: 180 Eyes: Hazel / Hair: Gray Last seen wearing a gray collared shirt with stripes, blue Jeans and a black hat Anyone having seen Mr. Clyburn or who may know his current location is asked to contact JSO at 904-630-0500.
