According to JSO, officers responded to the 6200 block of Pine Cove lane after being alerted that an adult male was shot. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is considered to be in stable condition.

The investigation done by officers concluded that there was a house party in the area and after a dispute between multiple individuals, rounds were fired into the area, where the victim was struck on the side.

The suspect fled in a white sedan, which was later located and the driver was detained by officers.

JSO asks anyone with information about this incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or via email at jsocrimetips@jaxsheriff.org or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
