ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Castillo de San Marcos National Monument will host a volunteer fair this Saturday, Oct. 3, at The Waterworks in St. Augustine, Fla. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 184 San Marco Ave.
The fair provides information on volunteer positions at historic sites across St. Augustine. Available roles include living history, historical interpretation, guided tours, historic crafts, retail and customer service.
Eight historic sites and cultural organizations will have representatives at the event to discuss volunteer opportunities.
Participating national and state sites include Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, Fort Matanzas National Monument, Fort Mose Historic State Park and the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
Additional participating institutions include the Lightner Museum, the Lincolnville Museum & Cultural Center, the Peña Peck House and the ACCORD Freedom Trail and Civil Rights Museum.
