The man found guilty of murdering an 8-year-old girl when he was only 14 is set to be re-sentenced.
Joshua Phillips' case has been under review after the Supreme Court ruled minors cannot be sentenced to life without parole.
He beat Maddie Clifton to death in 1998 and hid her body under his bed.
A judge will revisit the case on June 19.
