ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — A man has life-threatening injuries after being struck by a Toyota truck at Mayport Road and Plaza Street in Atlantic Beach.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, witnesses say the pedestrian was in the crosswalk, but was crossing illegally as the vehicle traffic had the green light.
The Toyota truck was driven by a man and had a female passenger inside.
