Man pleads guilty in gas station murder

The family of 21-year-old Nedzad Botonjic tells Action News that Nicholas Justin Stoner was arrested in Botonjic's killing.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One of two men charged in the killing of another man during a drug deal at a gas station pleaded guilty in court.

Nicholas Stoner pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact in the shooting death of Nedzad Botonjic at the BP gas station on Atlantic Boulevard earlier this year.

He'll be sentenced Nov. 25.

Police said Stoner, Botonjic and Joseph Tether met at the gas station in July for a drug deal when Tether shot Botonjic.
