ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — THE PLAYERS Championship is honoring very special guests Tuesday. It is The Players' military appreciation day.
The gates open at 7 a.m. at TPC. Thousands of free military tickets have been issued to service members for the event. During the event, the military can see the players practice.
What you need to know:
- Country music stars will be the musical entertainment.
- The featured charity Tuesday is K-9's for Warriors.
- You must also bring your verification voucher and military ID.
Military appreciation day in 2014 was a big hit with service members, so a big crowd is expected. Also, the Birdies for the Brave Patriots outpost at TPC offers free food, beverages and activities for military members.
