Patti Coffman woke up Saturday morning to find the tires slashed on her and her daughter’s cars.
On Monday, Coffman told Action News Jax her son-in-law Danny McGuirt Jr. is responsible for the damage to the vehicles and the bruises on her daughter.
“He threatened to kill me, my daughter, and the children,” explained Coffman.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for the 33-year-old on an aggravated stalking charge.

She described, “We were afraid to leave here for the fear that he might do something more dangerous.”
Deputies arrested McGuirt in Putnam County where he’s facing multiple drug related charges.
Coffman said her daughter, a mother of three, made several attempts to leave the violent relationship.
“The marks on her, she makes excuses for this and that. That she fell here, she fell there, stitches, you have to watch it,” warned Coffman.
