Funeral arrangements announced for Nassau County Deputy Joshua Moyers

CALLAHAN, Fla. — The Oxley-Herald Funeral Directors announced funeral arrangements for Nassau County Deputy Joshua Moyers.

Moyers was shot during a traffic stop on Sept. 24 in Callahan and died from his injuries two days later.

His funeral service will be held at Callahan First Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 2, at noon. The service is not open to the public, per his family’s request.

Following the service, Moyers will be laid to rest at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, according to the funeral director.
