People in Jacksonville will soon be able to fly to several new destinations.
Spirit Airlines announced Monday that it is adding Fort Lauderdale and Baltimore-Washington International airports to its daily, nonstop flight list. Those flights will be offered beginning in February.
Spirit's first flights out of Jacksonville -- nonstop to Chicago and Detroit -- are slated to begin on Dec. 20, with many destinations being added in the following months.
