PALATKA, Fla. — Putnam County Fire and Palatka Fire Rescue investigating a train fire in Palatka.
Fire officials investigated reports of smoke coming from the Amtrak train headed out of Jacksonville.
Amtrak says 168 passengers were on the train at the time.
No passengers were reportedly injured.
The Southbank Amtrak 97 Silver Service/ Palmetto train arrived at a scheduled stop in Palatka before 11 a.m.
The train was temporarily delayed and is now headed to Miami.
The train travels daily between New York City and Miami.
