ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Orange Park Mall will host the Florida Fashion Week runway show on Saturday, Sept. 26. The free public event will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the mall’s Center Court.
Florida Fashion Week, a veteran- and woman-owned organization, is partnering with the mall to present local talent, boutique collections and emerging designers from across Florida. The runway show will highlight regional fashion trends for a Northeast Florida audience.
VyStar Credit Union is serving as the founding sponsor for Florida Fashion Week. Dillard’s of Orange Park is acting as the national headlining brand for the event, featuring collections from designer lines available in-store, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Steve Madden, Tommy Bahama, and Vince Camuto.
Florida State College at Jacksonville will also support the runway experience. Students and staff from the college are providing hair and makeup services for the show’s models.
Randy Bowman serves as the general manager of Orange Park Mall. “Orange Park Mall is a destination where generations of families and friends gather, making it the perfect setting for a shared experience that brings creative spirit to life,” Bowman said. “We are excited to partner with Florida Fashion Week to give style enthusiasts, local families and the entire community an opportunity to celebrate the incredible creativity that thrives in our state.”
Danielle Jiles is the owner and CEO of Florida Fashion Week. “At its heart, Florida Fashion Week is about bringing people together to celebrate the unique fashion culture of Florida,” Jiles said. “Bringing this energy to Orange Park Mall allows us to create an unforgettable experience for the community while elevating the dynamic, individual style found across Florida.”
Admission to the event is free for all attendees, with seating offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees will be able to view the runway show, participate in photo opportunities, and shop featured looks throughout the mall during the afternoon.
The runway event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Orange Park Mall’s Center Court.
