PIERCE COUNTY, Ga. — A 43-year-old Patterson woman was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for producing sexually explicit images of a child. Brandy Marie Gill pleaded guilty to federal charges involving conduct that occurred in August 2025, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release Wednesday.
U.S. District Judge Lisa Godbey Wood sentenced Gill to 192 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. Margaret E. “Meg” Heap, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, announced the sentence following Gill’s guilty plea to the production of visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Court documents and testimony show that in August 2025, Gill persuaded a minor child to engage in sexually explicit conduct. The purpose was to produce material that would be distributed electronically, the news release states.
U.S. District Judge Wood also ordered Gill to pay $5,000 to the Amy, Vicky and Andy Child Pornography Victim Assistance fund. In addition to the fine and prison time, Gill will be required to register as a sex offender. There is no parole in the federal system.
