Original Story: A man died in a shooting in Springfield on Thursday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police responded to 8th and Hubbard streets and found a man dead.
This is the man family tell us was shot to death this afternoon in the Springfield area.

JSO closed multiple roads in Springfield during the investigation.
Investigators said the suspect's vehicle is believed to be a white Dodge sedan with black rims.
It is not known at this time if the shooting is connected to another shooting that happened Wednesday night or if the shooting was gang-related.
