JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a person was shot near the Oceanway Community Center on Saturday afternoon.
JSO reports at around 1:15 p.m. patrol officers responded to the 12200 block of West Sago Ave. in reference to a dispute.

Upon arrival, officers located a man in his mid-30s suffering from a gunshot wound to his calf.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Violent Crime and Crime Scene Detectives are on the scene conducting the investigation.
