JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are surrounding a Motel 6 on Philips Highway.
JSO officers could be seen rushing to a room on the third floor with guns.
This is the same motel where a man was shot Wednesday evening. He is expected to survive.
Police have not confirmed if the two situations are related.
