PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado went through Southeast Putnam County Saturday morning.

Action News Jax First Alert Meteorologists Corey Simma and Garrett Bedenbaugh were tracking the system during the 9 a.m. hour on Action News Jax This Morning.
The NWS said there is evidence of tornado damage and a debris path near Lake George in Crescent City.
