Putnam County deputies find East Palatka toddler, reunite him with his mom

EAST PALATKA, Fla. — UPDATE, 11:22 a.m., 5/25/23: The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said Jace Waters has been FOUND SAFE. PCSO shared photos of the happy reunion with his mom.

Missing 3-year-old boy Jace Waters reunited with his mom in Putnam County.

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a toddler who has been missing since earlier this morning.


According to police, deputies are looking for 3-year-old Jace Waters, who was last seen in the Sweetgum Road and Cracker Swamp area in East Palatka. Police said that Jace wandered away from his home.

PCSO has a K9 at the scene, and air units are on the way.

Jace stands 3 feet tall and has strawberry-blonde hair.

If anyone sees Jace, please call 911 immediately.
