Report: Rep. Ted Yoho's son arrested for DUI in Gainesville

The son of Florida Rep. Ted Yoho was arrested early Saturday morning in Gainesville.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The son of Florida Rep. Ted Yoho (R-District 3) was arrested early Saturday morning in Gainesville.

Tyler Marlin Yoho, 24, was charged with driving under the influence, according to a Gainesville Police Department arrest report.

Tyler Yoho was found to be "asleep in the driver's seat" and the keys "were still in the ignition and the vehicle was running," the report detailed.

An odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from the vehicle and Tyler Yoho's eyes were reportedly bloodshot and his speech was slurred. He later refused to provide two breath samples.

According to the Alachua County clerk of the court records, Tyler Yoho's arraignment is set for April 8 at 1:30 p.m.
