Report: Woman arrested after chain-reaction crash seriously injures St. Augustine man

A 21-year-old Hastings woman was arrested after reportedly causing a chain-reaction crash, seriously injuring a pedestrian, according to a Florida Highway Patrol traffic report.

At approximately 10:32 p.m. Thursday, Tiffani Danielle Goff was driving north on US-1, north of Lewis Speedway, and struck a 2007 Toyota Camry traveling in the same direction.

Goff's Hyundai Sonata struck the Toyota Camry from behind causing the Toyota Camry to travel onto the shoulder, hitting a 64-year-old man, the report stated.

The man was air-lifted to Orange Park Medical Center in serious condition.

Both drivers and the passengers of the Toyota Camry were taken to Flagler Hospital with minor injuries.

Goff was arrested and charged with careless driving and DUI. She is being held in St. Johns County jail with a bond amount of $6,000.
