Restaurant Report: Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews cited for second time in two years

At Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews located at 4586 Town Center Pkwy in Jacksonville, health inspectors found the following:

  • Potentially hazardous food temperatures
  • An employee handled dishes without washing their hands
  • Proof of employee training was not available

A corporate spokesperson sent Action News Jax the following statement:

"..Our operations leadership is working with the Jacksonville restaurant team to reinforce health and safety protocols to ensure they consistently meet or exceed local health department standards."

This isn't the first time Red Robin was featured on our Restaurant Report.

In November of 2017, we reported that inspectors found live small flying insects in the kitchen and raw sewage outside the back door among other violations.

Health inspectors found the following at Gators Dockside located at 485-1 SR 13 N in St. Johns County:

  • Potentially hazardous food temperatures
  • A mold like substance in an ice machine
  • A slicer blade was soiled with old food debris

Inspectors say they found the following at Gangnam Korean Restaurant located at 5161 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville:

  • 1 dead roach
  • Potentially hazardous food temperatures
  • Raw animal food stored over ready to eat food

Pizza Paddle Co located at 4320 Deerwood Lake Parkway was cited for:

  • Potentially hazardous food temperatures
  • A food storage container lid was cracked
  • Employee with no hair restraint in the food prep area
