JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Dames Point Bridge is back open following a crash that shut down the southbound lanes Friday morning.
According to JSO, around 11 a.m. a crash with injuries blocked all of the lanes.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a man driving a Chevy Silverado failed to adjust the speed of his vehicle and rear-ended a dump truck.
An Action News Viewer said the pickup truck then caught fire.
A 40-year-old man from Jacksonville went to UF Health with minor injuries. Charges are pending.
