JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded Tuesday night to the UPS Customer Center.
Andy McGowan, a representative for UPS public relations, said shots were fired in the parking lot of the facility at 4420 Imeson Road. McGowan issued the following statement:
"We can confirm that there was an incident earlier today at the UPS Center in Jacksonville, FL.

"Two individuals got into a dispute outside of the facility and shots were fired. Police were called and the individual was arrested.
"No UPS employees were involved. There was no impact to UPS service at the facility."
McGowan said he did not believe anyone was injured. Action News has a crew on the scene and saw two JSO Crime Scene Unit vans. Authorities are searching a burgundy car, which appears to have a gun on the passenger's seat. We are waiting for a briefing from JSO at the scene.
