ST. JOHNS, Fla. — A home in St. Johns County was raided by police Friday morning.
Detectives and members of the sheriff’s SWAT team served a warrant on a home on Eagle Point Drive in the St. Johns County Golf and Country Club.
The SWAT activity shut down the neighborhood for about an hour and had many neighbors concerned.
Matthew Varela was greeted with a shocking site as he tried to get to work today.
“A SWAT truck you know what I mean a black one and I saw at least 15, 20 heads,” Varela said. “They blocked that street, they blocked that street and I couldn't around either way.”
The Sheriff’s Office says they served a warrant at the home around 9 a.m. Friday. The warrant came after complaints from neighbors and an investigation of alleged illegal activity at the home.

"There's a new car there almost every other day. There's always suspicious activity like cars would be dropping off packages and stuff," said Jacob Susice, a neighbor.
LeAnn Anderson was working from home when SWAT showed up. She says she saw officers ram the door and then rush inside the home.
“It was kind of frightening actually you know you don't expect to see guarded, machine. I don’t know what kind of guns they were but you don't expect to see that in a nice quiet neighborhood,” Anderson said.
No arrests were made but people living in this neighborhood say they hope the case is solved soon, so life can return normal.
One neighbor says that over the last week or two, she’d seen police in marked and unmarked cars parked on the street near this home. The Sheriff’s Office says they’re continuing to investigate.
