St. Augustine Police looking for man wanted for sexual battery on a minor

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Augustine Police Department are looking for a 25-year-old man who is wanted on charges of sexually abusing a minor.

Police believe Hunter Dylan Jones Buck may have fled the area and may have changed his appearance by cutting or dyeing his hair.

According to a police report, Buck allegedly broke into a house on January 19 and raped a 13-year-old girl. When the mother of the teenager came home from work, she walked into the room and started to yell at him. She tried to block him from leaving, but he pushed her out of the way and fled.

While most of the police report has been redacted, a landscape worker at the home told police that he recalled seeing a gray hatchback type of vehicle leaving the house at a high rate of speed around the time the suspect left. A neighbor also told police that there was a possible prowler at the home, as told to him by the homeowner three to four weeks before the incident.

Buck has been arrested before on charges of robbery back in 2014 and probation violation in 2017.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts to Hunter, please contact Detective Keen @904-825-1070. If you would like to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers @ 1-888-277-8477 or email tips.sjso.org
