ST. JOHNS, Fla. —
Over 500 students and staff in St. Johns County are under quarantine for possible exposure to COVID-19.
This comes as the district kicks off their high school football home openers.
As of Friday, there are 23 students and 6 staff members who have tested positive for the virus.
491 students and 31 staff members are currently quarantined at home due to close contact with at least one of those cases.
