ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Firefighters with the St. Augustine Fire Department and St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to a fire at a bed and breakfast in downtown St. Augustine Thursday afternoon.
Action News Jax Reporter Christy Turner is on scene working to learn more about what caused the fire. Here is what she learned so far:
- No one was hurt
- The cause of the fire is unknown
- The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the scene
- The Inn was completely booked and the guest that are staying there have to find a new place to stay
- There is extensive damage to two of the units and water damage on the first floor
- Fire happened inside an exterior wall
