New Ovico Gallery hosting weekend Black History Month event

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Johns County art gallery is inviting you to celebrate Black History Month.

Action News Jax told you about the new Ovico Gallery in St. Augustine. 

It was opened by St. Johns County mom and entrepreneur Ugochi Nwoga. 

The gallery, located on North Fifth Street in St. Augustine, features contemporary art from Nigerian artist Chike Onuorah. The gallery is inviting the public to a special weekend of events to celebrate Black History Month. 

There will be art and special African artifacts on display and for sale. Ovico Gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
