ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A new yard waste disposal site has become available to St. Johns County residents this week.
Due to a workforce shortage, the county experienced a delay in yard waste collection.
To provide the community with alternatives, the county has added a new site in addition to an existing site.
The site locations and hours are:
- Tillman Ridge Transfer Station (the newest site) - 3005 Allen Nease Rd, Elkton, FL 32033
- Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Republic Services Facility - 445A Republic Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32095
- Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Both sites are only available to residents of St. Johns County.
