St. Johns deputies searching for man who followed woman holding child around Publix

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they say followed a woman and a child around a Publix on Wednesday.

Deputies said the man followed the woman, who was holding a young child, into the Publix on State Road 13.

They said the man continued to follow the female and child around the store.

Deputies said the man is seen on video deliberately following her without purchasing anything from the store.

When the woman entered the checkout line, the subject exited the store and waited outside for her, then followed the subject to her car.

Deputies said the woman was able to hide from the man and went into the store to notify employees. Once they returned to the parking lot, the man was gone.
