ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — St. Johns deputies have recovered a car they believe is connected to a murder mystery in Putnam County.
In early September, the body of 22-year-old Shaquierra Pinckney was found in the Gethsemane Baptist Church cemetery.
Pinckney’s car was found on Melanie Street in a remote area of Flagler Estates about 10 miles away from where her body was found.

Action News Jax called Pinckney's mother in Daytona Beach for a comment. She was not aware that her daughter's vehicle had been found.
"This is the first we heard it. Where did they find it," Pinckney's mother asked.
It was originally reported missing by relatives on Aug. 30. Pinckney was four months pregnant with her third child at the time of her disappearance.
Pinckney’s mother also confirmed to Action News Jax that Pinckney posted an ad on Backpage.com as an escort on the night of her disappearance.
