The first-ever Jacksonville Lantern Parade will take place Saturday along the St. Johns River and will feature a glowing procession of light, color and music that will illuminate the city skyline.
The event is produced by Jacksonville Magazine and presented by our Action News Jax Family Focus partner VyStar Credit Union.
The parade will feature local marching bands, DJs and more. Boats bearing lanterns are invited to partake in the celebration and cruise up and down the St. Johns River.
