GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — People trying to call Green Cove Springs on Monday may have had a difficult time getting through.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page phones went down at about 7:45 a.m. and came back up at 8:01 a.m. “Thanks again for your patience.”
But at 11:40 a.m., the gremlins struck again.
“We wish it were just a Halloween trick, but the City’s phone system is currently down again,” another post read. “Our IT Department is working to restore service as quickly as possible.”
The turned out to be 12:52 p.m.
