Treecycling: What to do with your real Christmas tree after the holiday

St. Augustine, Fla. — After the presents are opened and the decorations are down, don’t throw away your real Christmas tree.

St. Johns County Parks and Recreation and the St. Johns County Solid Waste Division are teaming up to provide treecycling.

From Dec. 17 to Jan. 4, you can drop off your trees at the following locations, and those trees will be converted to mulch for use in county parks.
