Police said White stabbed Watson on Aug. 9 while in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Watson died from her injuries.
Witnesses told police that White, who was known to prostitute and do drugs, was upset with Watson because of a man whom they both liked. JSO said the witnesses said the two were in the apartment when White walked up behind Watson and stabbed her once in the torso.
Police found White later that day. She was charged with trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
White remained in custody during the investigation and was charged Wednesday with murder.
