Worst traffic in Jacksonville?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — What are the worst roads in Jacksonville? Action News Jax asked viewers on Facebook.

Out of the four responses, viewers said Blanding Boulevard through Orange Park was the worst spot in town. The Buckman Bridge area of Interstate 295 came in second, followed by Interstate 95 from County Road 210 to Downtown and the Overland Bridge Project, Interstate 295 through downtown to Interstate 95.

Most of the areas are part of construction projects, including the Overland Bridge Project. Workers are adding lanes to that area and it won’t be finished until the end of this year.

Phase two of State Road 9B in St. Johns County is scheduled to be completed this summer, but phase 3 isn’t expected to be finished until 2018.

The place our viewers said is the worst is Blanding Boulevard through Orange Park, which has nothing to do with construction.
