None — JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Players by the Sea is teaching black history this month to local students through a new play called This Seat's Taken.

The play will run through Feb. 15 and is open to schools looking for an education field trip.

This Seat's Taken takes the audience on a journey with Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as they look back on the event that became the tipping point for the Civil Rights Movement. The event that changed everything. The day Rosa Parks would not give up her seat.

The play was written and directed by Players by the Sea Education Director Barbara Colaciello. Teachers or parents who would like to set up a field trip for students can do so by calling Barbara at 249-0289.

This Seat's Taken will run through Feb. 15.
