NEW YORK — The makeup contouring trend has gone from faces to the back of people's necks.

Mashable reported that vlogger Tina Lee of MakeupWearables shared a video on Instagram showing followers how to do the new trend.

Lee said the contouring is for "a slimmer and graceful looking neck for updos."

"For everyday use, adding just a line of white will automatically and naturally make your neck look slimmer," Lee said in a YouTube tutorial. "For pictures, you'll want to add a dark line next to it."
