The jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball lottery drawing rose to an estimated $825 million.
The jackpot, which has a cash option of an estimated $410.2 million, has increased since Aug. 3, the last time someone won the jackpot’s grand prize.
Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday were 19-36-37-46-56 with a Powerball 24. The multiplier was 2.
