The Florida Gators have reportedly suspended quarterback Treon Harris and cornerback Jalen Tabor for Saturday's game against Tennessee.

Gridironnow.com first reported the news on 1010XL during the radio show of Action Sports Jax's Brent Martineau, Frank Frangie and Rick Ballou on Wednesday afternoon.

Harris did not play in Florida's win over Kentucky, but this news certainly clears up the Gators quarterback situation for another week.  Harris and freshman Will Grier have been battling for the starting job with Grier getting more playing time in the first three weeks.

Tabor is a starting cornerback with NFL potential.

The Gators host Tennessee at 3:30pm on CBS47 Saturday afternoon.  Florida has defeated the Vols ten consecutive times.
