Reports: Jaguars to sign at least 6 players in free agency

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot of money to spend in free agency and the checks are being written. The NFL league season opened at 4 p.m. and now the acquisitions can be made official.

The last few days, the Jaguars have been linked to several free agents and the reports indicate the team will have at least six new players in 2015. The Jaguars are yet to confirm any deals and the players will all have to pass physicals before things are official.

  • Julius Thomas, Tight End, Denver Broncos (5 year, $9.2 million per year and $24 million guaranteed per reports)
  • Jermy Parnell, Right Tackle, Dallas Cowboys
  • Jared Odrick, Defensive Tackle, Miami Dolphins (reported $22 million deal with $8.5 guaranteed)
  • Dan Skuta, Linebacker, San Francisco 49ers
