Bryan Hayes, Mark Degner: 2 Jacksonville boys disappeared 16 years ago today

Jacksonville, Fl. — Feb. 10 marks the 16th anniversary since two Jacksonville boys vanished in 2005.

Bryan Hayes, who was just 13 years old at the time, and Mark Degner, who was 12 years old at the time, were last seen walking out of what is now Paxon Middle School.

We reached out to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office regarding this case and they said there are no new updates.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said they may still be in the local area.

Hayes has a scar on the left side of his torso.
